AIDS DAY 2005 POTENTIAL PARTICIPANTS:We are pleased to announce that International AIDS Prevention Initiative ("IAPI"), in collaboration with Global Quilt, is offering portions of the International AIDS Memorial Quilt to commemorate World AIDS Day 2005. As part of IAPI's World Quilt Tour, panels from Africa, Asia, Canada, Europe, South America, and the South Pacific will be available for a modest honoraria for each panel.
If you would like to borrow a panel (or panels) in 2005, please fill out the World AIDS Day Panel Request Form electronically or by mail or fax (734) 758-0466. You will be contacted once your request has been received. There are a limited number of panels available, so requests will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
PICK UP DATES: Participants are required to pickup Quilt the week of November 14 to 18, and return before December 9, 2005. Within the US, pickups and returns take place at IAPI's offices at 75 Varick Street, Suite 1404, NY, NY 10013.
HONORARIUM: For each section borrowed, an honoraria of $200 to $500 is requested. Half of the honorarium paid will go to the organization providing the borrowed quilt to support local programming. The remaining portion will be used to continued IAPI's programming in Africa, and the Caribbean.
